The Denver City Open is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in Colorado.
In 1914, members of the clubs across the city decided Denver needed a city tournament. For the first fourteen years, the tournament was held in City Park. In 1928, it was moved to the Denver Tennis Club.
Presently, the tournament is the 3rd largest USTA Adult Sanctioned Tournament in the country. It is one the most historic and prestigious tournaments in the state of Colorado. Held at the beautiful Denver Tennis Club since 1928, the tournament is a must play for the serious tennis enthusiast.
The Denver Tennis Club has a long and outstanding tennis tradition in the Mile High City of Denver, Colorado. We are open to all levels, from beginners to nationally ranked players and offer a variety of programs to fulfill any player’s needs.
DTC is a member-owned club, where members and staff alike take great care in maintaining our modern clubhouse and pristine grounds. We are proud of our club and the sense of community established here. Come check us out!
